50th anniversary of National EMS Week

May 15, 2024 12:25 PM: We have been notified of a bridge out on BCR 356 approx 1/2-3/4 mile off Hwy 72. We have been told it will be closed until further notice.

National Police Week occurs every May, and in 2024, we will commemorate it with live, in-person events. The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund will hold ceremonies, including the 36th Annual Candlelight Vigil, to honor the fallen officers whose names have recently been added to the Memorial.

It’s National Volunteer Week, and SFPD extends our thanks to all of the volunteer firefighters, EMS providers, rescue workers, and support personnel who make our communities better every day. From our house to yours, THANK YOU!

Human trafficking affects millions across the globe. Each January, the Center for Countering Human Trafficking’s (CCHT) Blue Campaign recognizes National Human Trafficking Prevention Month (HTPM) to raise awareness of and combat this heinous crime.

Turn off tree lights, decorations, and portable space heaters when away or asleep.

Celebrating 811 Day: The Importance of Safe Digging in Missouri

The Bollinger County Commissioners agreed to issue a "No Burn Advisory" today. All residents are advised to use extreme caution with any open fires and fireworks. Residents are advised to have adequate water available for ground cover fires ignited by sparks from open fires or fireworks. Residents are also urged to be considerate of neighbors and neighboring land owners.
